This version of WHMIS includes the recent GHS WHMIS revisions and the new HPR amendments that came into force on December 15, 2022, and is being phased in over a 3-year period.  This is a complete WHMIS Awareness level course; it includes up-to-date WHMIS testing and a WHMIS certificate is issued.

This WHMIS course consists of 5 modules. The first 4 modules focus on:

  1. understanding what WHMIS is
  2. how the WHMIS classification system works
  3. how to read a WHMIS label
  4. how to use a Safety Data Sheet

Module 5 includes information on the Consumer Chemical hazard classes and information employees need to aware of when products labelled under the Consumer labelling system are brought into the workplace.
